Part 5: And Off We Go! – A Tremendous Start for Our Charity Motorcycle Tour

And we are rolling… 🏍️

After a wonderful farewell from many lovely people, Berthold Wirtgen and I are now speeding along the roads towards southern Germany on our bikes. We take with us great expectations, good wishes and even God’s blessing, which Father Magnus gave us in Linz am Rhein. We are delighted with the great encouragement our project is receiving.

Our first destination is Switzerland – just a stone’s throw compared to the more than 50,000 kilometers we will cover on this tour. It’s for a good cause: for every kilometer we ride, we collect 1 euro in donations for Aktionsgruppe Kinder in Not e.V., so that the money can be used to advance educational initiatives in India.

From Linz to Andermatt

For today we have 600 kilometers ahead of us, a 6 to 7 hour drive to the Andermatt region. Tomorrow we will continue to the source of the Rhine.
